When viewing in IR mode the level and span can be set to auto or manual but whilst in manual you can perform a fast automatic rescaling for quick adjustment in dynamic situations. This model adds a 2Mpixel visible light camera which allows the operator to switch between visible, IR and picture in picture IR (PIP) viewing modes. In use, its light weight and simple controls allows stable during one-handed operation with one-button operation for the laser pointer and torch.
The focus-free system keeps the image in good focus at distances in excess of 4ft (1.22m).
